Ingredients You’ll Need:
-
200 g mung bean noodles (soaked in hot water)
-
300 g chicken (marinated with salt & pepper)
-
2 tbsp oil (for cooking)
-
1 onion (sliced)
-
3–4 garlic cloves (chopped)
-
1 green chili (sliced)
-
1 potato (cubed)
-
1 tomato (chopped)
-
1 carrot (chopped)
-
Salt and pepper (to taste)
-
½ cup cheese (blended with milk)
-
1 cup milk
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the noodles
Soak mung bean noodles in hot water until soft. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the chicken
In a steel pot, heat oil and add chicken marinated with salt and pepper. Fry until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and keep aside.
Step 3: Sauté vegetables
In the same pot, add a little more oil. Add garlic and onion, sauté until fragrant. Next, add green chili, potato, tomato, and carrot. Cover and let them cook until softened.
Step 4: Season
Add salt and pepper, mix well, cover again, and cook until the vegetables are tender.
Step 5: Make the cheese sauce
In a blender, combine cheese with milk to make a creamy mixture. Add this to the pot with the vegetables. Stir and bring to a gentle boil.
Step 6: Combine everything
Add the cooked chicken back into the pot and stir. Finally, add the softened mung bean noodles. Mix until everything is well-coated in the creamy cheese sauce.
